You've seen the kids do VEX robotics now it's our turn!
Thursdays in July • 6–9 PM at Great Plains MakerSpace
This summer, roll into the world of robotics with Pivot Build League, a hands-on program where adults and families team up to build real working robots using the VEX IQ robotics system — then compete in a friendly, points-based challenge inspired by official VEX competitions (Rapid Relay)!
No experience? No problem. We’ll provide the parts, tools, and guidance to help you design, build, and test your robot. Whether you’re a parent and child team, a group of friends, or an individual, you’ll learn engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a fun and welcoming environment.
Open to all ages and skill levels (each team must include at least one adult)
Come for the whole evening or drop in as you can — flexible attendance
Work at your own pace and prepare for a collaborative competition at the end of the month, where teams race against the clock to score as many points as possible!
Teams can be any size, and all materials are provided. Perfect for families seeking a creative challenge or adults looking to learn something new.
Robots. Teamwork. Strategy. Let’s build something awesome!
Registration for each team is $50 ($45 for MakerSpace members)
